SAX, or self-access exercises, is a website that provides self-study material for military learners of English. SAX is based upon multimedia products offered free of charge at the NATO E-bookshop. Currently there are ten videos available online, with self-access tasks to improve your English language skills.  Enjoy and come back soon for more!

Users may play and seek through  before a clip is fully loaded. Also added an option that is unavailable with source DVDs - English subtitles -  which viewers can switch on/off by clicking the CC button on the video player.

Take a variety of tests, e.g. multiple choice, true or false, matching, fill-in-the-gaps, etc. Feedback is provided for each task. Scores and correct answers are available immediately after quiz completion.
